What they cannot do is interpret it: they don’t know your child, they haven’t sat in a Swiss staffroom, and they can’t tell you how a school’s culture will actually feel to a seven-year-old who doesn’t yet speak German.

Local School Zug: More Testing. Canton Zug is moving towards greater emphasis on grades, standardised testing and measurable performance. From Grade 4, pupils are expected to take standardised German and mathematics tests once per semester.
