April sees her role as an investigator on behalf of the student. She helps both schools and parents by interviewing past teachers and therapists, reviewing all documentation, and putting together a Customized Learner Profile that all schools will understand immediately.

The Learning Room Zürich is a needs led practice offering speech and language therapy, educational support, assessment and consultation for children and young people with special needs as well as those just requiring a little extra support.

Foundations for Learning offers learning and academic support for children in English-based school programmes.

Psychoeducational evaluations in English

Dr Schneider (aka Dr Dys) is a published author and expert in learning disorders. She provides psychoeducational evaluation to identify learning disorders (LDs) such as dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia; the presence of oral language delays in school-age children; and the presence of giftedness or high-potential (HP) traits in twice-exceptional children.

Rockmybaby is the leading nanny service in Switzerland.

Shooting Stars is an English speaking preschool for 2 to 5 year olds, run by a UK qualified teacher. From August 2018, the school will be based in Unterägeri.

Reading, Writing & Spelling for English-Speaking Children

Language Plus offers engaging, active English lessons to bilingual or native English speaking children to maintain or improve their spoken English, as well as focused literacy classes to support early readers and writers.

AtoZ provides classes for children from ages three or four through primary school, with a curriculum that teaches the most important reading, writing, grammar and spelling skills.

Happy Nest
At the Happy Nest English Club children’s literacy skills are fostered by a qualified teacher basing her methods around the Jolly Phonics system. The class size is kept small (maximum of 10 children for Beginners and Intermediate levels, 6 for the Advanced level) to allow a maximum of personal attention to each child.

Women’s Activity Club (WAC) provides English lessons for native speakers. It’s Learning Tree co-operative school offers a range of classes for children aged 2 until 14, for native english speakers and for those who are learning english for the first time.

English for All. English for All’s aim is to bring English to the local community and to help other English speaking families to get access to English teaching resources and learning programs. The school also provides tailor-made online teaching resources.

Links to Literacy is run and taught by Annelise Dohr, a qualified and experienced UK Primary School and Special Needs teacher, who is now offering group and individual lessons to children aged between 4 and 12 years old.
